Info from my Dad, 5/9/2001:
Phineas lived at Prophetstown, Il; joined the Union army; later homesteaded around Lexington, NE. Dad indicated that family lore says the Reynoldses first came to US via Canada. (Note: info re Phineas all checks out.)
